kpop is losing its essence

@strayberr1es imo the third gen grps are still ok they havent lost that spark (twice, svt, txt etc.) but like the fourth and fifth gen grps idk what the hell they are eating and drinking to release music like that. only a few groups in 4th-5th gen have that spark that draws me in, if not everyone else (kissoflife, skz, (G)idle, ive, le sserafim etc.)

@strayberr1es @strayberr1es like some groups still have that charm that keeps you going e.g. skz but i feel like it's due to lack of passion for what they do. Like you can tell which idols love their job and who don't. and i'm not just saying older gens are the majority (they're not). The new kpop groups seem almost...artificial? Like the companies don't put much care about the idols or the quality. It's quantity over everything. All they want is money.
