          it's been a little bit since i've been active on here. i've received so many messages + love on my Instagram about my old books, and i so so appreciate it so much. i cannot believe that half a decade later, the works i wrote when i was a teenager are still getting so much love. thank you so much for remembering and thinking so fondly of them!
          
          as for my books, i've been thinking about what i want to do with them. i am working on a bunch of new things offline (a wedding season themed rom com, a short story collection, even rewriting checkmate). i don't think they will ever be back on wattpad—to put short, i don't trust this site at all—but i am looking for other means and platforms in which i can share my work again. this will most likely just come in the form of traditional/self publishing.
          
          as for any book updates, please feel free to follow https://www.instagram.com/postcardsbyelle/ ! this is my little side account that's not heavily just book reviews and i will try to post some updates + things i've been working on as much as possible. please let me know if you are from here + any specific questions or even if you would like to read some things i've been working on! i would be happy to share it with you.

          Their chemistry, their relationship, their connections… gosh I haven’t connected with a book like I did with checkmate. I really hope some day you get to publish checkmate trilogy, cause I’d be the first buyer. That story has my heart forever.
