Aubrey Barlowe

A writer of over 8 years who specializes in fantasy, mystery, horror, and stories about trauma--whether it be the experience itself, the aftermath, or the recovery thereof. I'm an autistic woman who's lived through a variety of experiences and places, and like to include things reflecting that. Diverse characters, cultures, environments, and politics (different within each in-story location!) appear in my writing.

I like weaving life lessons--through the experiences of relatable characters--into the stories I tell. Many people see themselves or the people around them reflected in the characters they see in books, so I think it's helpful for people to be able to see those same kinds of people within fiction so they can reflect on the relationships within their own lives.

Interested in genuine read-for-read offers, but only if I'm interested in your story! As much as I'd like to accept everything to boost my own readership, I also need time to write, so I hope you'll be understanding. 😊
