Fun fact about my family; we all have a longstanding grudge against a local politician but it’s not for any actual political reasons it’s because her son bullied my sister in school and she refused to stop him so now she’s our enemy

All of the TBOB main characters are sleep deprived with the exception of Wilamena

Like, Kate? Basically has not had a full night of sleep in over a decade, the most insomniac person in the whole trilogy. Michael? Keeps getting his rest interrupted because of canon events and also Emma putting spiders in his bed. Emma? Runs on adrenaline and spite. Gabriel? The epitome of tired dad who’s always on alert bc paranoia. Rafe? Lays awake at night thinking about stealing and the savages, being lovesick, and fending off The Horrors. Meanwhile Wilamena is a literal princess with access to any sleep aids she needs and everyone else is side eyeing her when she says she’s well rested.
