Shuichi had been interrogating suspects for a murder case, which was stressful for both parties, of course.
It was late, around 11 PM, and Shuichi just wanted to get home. With that, he was getting annoyed with how long the investigation was taking. The tension escalated quickly, which ended up causing Shuichi to begin arguing with the suspect. She was a young woman in her early twenties, and was rather skinny. This made it even more surprising when the detective was shoved back by the woman, breaking the chair as he collided with the floor.
Luckily, the officers in the room managed to contain her before anymore damage was done. Shuichi drove home after that, arriving to the apartment complex where he and Kaito lived together. Upon entering, he sighed. “Kaito, I-I’m home.”

@starisms- “I guess so.” Shuichi took off his jacket, and sat on the couch. “The i-interrogation went terribly, b-but I think I have a lead.”

" he greeted him with a slightly strained smile . he seemed rather tired himself , but what else could you expect from the would be astronaut who wasn't allowed to go into space due to a medical condition ? still , he was happy to see the other again , " did anything interesting happen at work today ? " he inquired , going into the kitchen to get shuichi something to drink after the long day of work . just water , since it was late and he really should get some rest soon in order to get up for work in the morning . he came back after a moment with a glass of iced water , " so ? did you want to talk about it ? "
