Luke

I joined Wattpad in late 2013 or early 2014 as @LBD295 because I was sick in bed and bored.  I thought it was a place to read pirated books honestly, but it quickly became much more than that.  It was a place to write for fun, to escape my life, and most importantly to make friends.  Something I never really had.  

Somewhere down the road, my mom made me delete my account, too young for socials and perhaps she was right.  I quickly created this one, because I really felt that the people on this platform I had met were important, and they were.  They had a profound impact on my isolated life.  I had grown stagnated in my depression, and it was people here who lifted me out of it. 

I'm now doing quite well for myself, and I'm also a published writer; living the Wattpad dream.  Envious?  I came back here to reflect, to remember, and to cringe very very hard because oh my God I was awful.  Like wow.  I wrote this shit???  And you people consumed it??
