ah, lord membresia ..come, sit. we’ve been awaiting your ultimate arrival

soverlars

@draqariys .. indeed, you come here in hopes that i will change my mind and aid you in war. * he couldn’t have made it any more simpler, it was the same conversation he had with valerion and a few others after him. heaving out a sigh, he place his feet on top of the table, slotting his hands together and resting them upon his midriff. * you can save the flattery for another, my answer is no.

[ he was well aware that austine was not an easy man to convince, but he was still a man after all. if the western king had luck with the giants despite his unpreparedness, he was sure that eventually ..even if not now, but soon enough he would have the membresia’s full support on their side. gesturing to the open seat across from him amongst his newfound study, he clasps his hands together with a somewhat welcoming smile ..which seemed more eerie than anything ] you’re a rather wise man, austine ..so i would assume that you know exactly why i beckoned you?

@draqariys .. great. * a hint of sarcasm can be heard as he’s ushered to the open seat in front of aemond. austine is aware of what this is about, allyship. to have the /full/ support of the membresia’s. but he has disagreed once, he will do it again. *

@soverlars the.. members of the council are older and wiser. most if not all have seen the act of war firsthand.. it is not a matter of being used, merely listening to the experienced [ while she may have been defending them, a part of leanna, one that she had been ignoring for quite some time, knew he was right. she cannot express her thoughts without experiencing the war in a way they did. yet they would not allow her to join the army in battle ] .. it is a war for the benefit of the north. without it the heretic has the advantage, which you know.. it cannot be avoided

@truerheir .. i do not agree with the way the situation is be handled. how you allow others to use you. * ‘guide’ is the word people on the council used, but he hadn’t heard leanna speak or provide her own opinion on any matter. just the allowance of others. * you are not at the forefront, my grace. .. it is difficult for me to tell if this is a war you /need/ or if it’s a war the council /wants/.

@soverlars [ her smile wasn’t big enough to falter, yet his words earns a stall in her movements. only nodding after her eyes had moved left in right, hoping he would give en explanation] .. which i can understand. war is violent and cruel..
