holy shit wattpad isn’t completely dead yet???

*i know this announcement is kinda long but i’d appreciate if you read it, it’s important.*
          
          hey y’all! so i’ve noticed since i logged back in like two days ago that a lot of people have been replying to my comments. though these conversations are lovely and all, they’ve been clogging up my feed and the feeds of everyone who ever interacted with the comment, and the writers who never interacted with the comments being posted on their work. there’s a messaging system right in the wattpad app, and people could even exchange info and move their conversations to a different, more appropriate, platform altogether if those people so choose. there’s no reason to just spam the feeds of writers who work super hard and readers who don’t wanna be involved with the conversation. 
          
          i’m not trying to be a stinker or anything like that, it’s just that writers have literally posted announcements about it asking politely for people to stop doing this, and some people continue doing it anyway. it’s not my intention to be rude, and i’m sorry if i’m coming off that way. it’s just really important that you think before you comment on a writer’s hard work or reply to a comment someone made on their work. it’s not as if you can’t comment and/or reply period, you just shouldn’t if it would be better to say such things in a different setting. 
          
          (side note: i know for sure that i’ve done this before, and i wanna say sorry to readers who’ve gotten spammed by me and send my deepest apologies to all the writers i’ve spammed).
