@eliizabvth first of all, TRUST ME US REN SHIPPERS DONT HATE YOU. it still stings me that hazel died, and ill admit in the first two book i got rlly annoyed with her character at times. she only cared about herself, and was just rude to people and her friends for no reason. she was selfish, willing to kill someone just for her own being. and even though she succeed, part of me wish she didn't. by book 2 i practially despised her, and tbh reading her chapters felt like a chore LOL. not to mention even though i did hate hazel in book 1 and 2, i did for some reason like drew and hazel together. AT LEAST IN BOOK 1 when they weren't toxic to each other. even though i did hate hazel, i hated drew more, and i was crying tears of joy when he died even after. i never thought he would die though, nor did i think will and hazel ACTUALLY had a chance together even after will holding hazel while she watch drew die. but in book 3 when they had to work together, it gave me some hope. later on rereading the series, i didn't realize how much hints of the two of them being together or were bound to soon be together were there. i was like totally blind, and by book 4 i had fallen for their relationship. i liked hazels development in book 3 and 4, how she actually changed herself after drews passing. she helped out more, and for once wasn't focused on herself and by book 4 she was willing to sacrifice herself if that meant her friends could be happy, including will. i love hazel for that, and that just goes to show the progress she made for herself and will. if you think about it, she did it all for will and that was wise, showing how much she loved him afterall.

@eliizabvth IM SORRY BUT MAYA AND LUNA?? Im sure you wouldve made it work and i wouldve still fallen in love with them since it lesbian after all but thats just so weird to think about. lrystal was my fav, along with backson that was written rlly well. i think luna was a good figure and friend to Eli in book 2, and i was kinda disappointed when most of their friendship was thrown out the window until coming back last second in book 4. Luna impaced Eli, a lot, which is what gave him the courage to come out in book 2 and find Zen. there were a lot of cases in which i knew Eli was gay, but didn't wanna start anything. for lrystal, i wish that they just had a bittersweet ending, which in a way they did but properly with luna just cutting crystal out of her life completely.

@curlyheaves ah, yes, backson. when it came down to bianca's main love interest, she seemed perfect for a enemies to lover trope with a random stranger, except she wasn't.  in fact, i had originally planned for Delilah to be the one that got kidnapped, and then soon taken to a mental hospital, only for Jackson and her to hit it off. Although, after some thinking, making Bianca the pick to win Jackson's heart made the most sense. for starters, I don't think Drew would've gone so crazy if Delilah was the one that got kidnapped afterall, causing Hazel's and Drew breakup that was also planned for book 2. And also the fact that Bianca's random bipolar episodes that took place in book 1, would make a little sense as to why Jackson took her to the mental hospital in the first place (zikotryan or not). I kinda wish they stayed enemies for longer,  maybe for the the majority of book 2, and then not become lovers until mid book 3, but at the time I wasn't even sure if i was up for book 3. when i did write book 3, i was glad that jackson leaving did me good for ideas, so that bianca and eli were able to go find him. book 4 was still a good book for them, dealing with bianca's mom and such. its safe to say there's not one book where bianca got a break, though in a way it was better that way because it was kinda fun to write and hopefully read. one thing that shocked me was the fact that people at some point shipped drew and bianca all the way up to book 2. THAT JUST MAKES ME LAUGH.

All seemed well for the new school year in September,  though it's only a month in when things take a sharp turn. Death threats of the senior student Violet Belova, are displayed in the girls bathroom stall, morning being added by the days go by. At first many thought it was a prank, but once the school got involved, it wasn't anymore. Quinn and her friends used to be good friends with Violet, and slightly worried, they decide to spend months trying to figure this mysterious person out, discovering clues all the way to the December winter dance. Her friend Devin also helps, while befriending one of the shy guys that he sits next to on the bus. In the end, they find out shocking news.

@kawaiis0daes i agree with you! since book one, the idea of hazel dying at the end of the book, whether it was second, third, etc, i wanted her to die knowing that she did it to protect her friends, rather then being weak and such. then the idea of drew having a comeback, but also have an evil arc, made the idea of her dying w drew even better. i liked the way it came out!
