SHE FELT HER CHEST TIGHTEN , CAUTIOUS as she pulled up the hood over her hair , as well as the thin scarf attached to her tunic to cover the lower part of her face . and then , her quiet steps would move forward , revealing herself . inej felt for the knives concealed on herself , finding a sense of safety and security knowing that they were there . ] what gave me away ?

/ a bit of background information above ^ . please note , this is NOT an original character — INEJ GHAFA belongs to the beloved writer LEIGH BARDUGO , who wrote the GRISHAVERSE , including the SIX OF CROWS DUOLOGY . although this inej will be heavily inspired by SOC / CK & the TV show SHADOW & BONE , this will be an independent portrayal of her character & I will probably include headcannons of my own . please note that my portrayal of inej ghafa is also NOT a teenager , as presented in the books . she is more early - mid twenties .
