Ismoil Shomurodov (b. 1966) is a contemporary Uzbek writer and playwright.
He is the author of novels such as Defeat, Cannibal, Land of Dreams, and Siege, as well as many romantic, humorous, and detective short stories.
His screenplays have been adapted into television series, animated films, and cartoons.
He writes exclusively in Uzbek and is known for blending tradition with modern storytelling.
