Sheila Danzig was born March 18, 1948. Born and educated through her bachelor's degree in New York City she graduated from Hunter College of The City University of NY in 1968 and became a New York City elementary school teacher at the age of 19. She was awarded a Masters Degree in Interpersonal Studies from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 2002 and an Ed.D. from the Universidad San Juan de la Cruz where she is a professor in the international program specializing in prior learning assessment.
