Imagine you are sitting in a classroom on the first day of school. You're teacher is having everyone introduce themselves; they all announce their name and one simple fact. I'm the girl who introduces herself as the writer. But I know just as well as you do that here, that simply doesn't cut it. Because we're all writers, aren't we? So this is where I begin to feel cornered. I don't know which way to turn. Because apart from being a writer, I'm still trying to figure out who I am. I've got my whole life planned out- who I want my publisher to be, which books will be made into movies, where I'll do my first book signing. But even if my life goes exactly as its supposed to be, I'm nothing without my stories. I call myself Aurelia one day, and Raven the next. Last year I was Gwendolyn, and next year I'll be Whisper. I shed identities and put them on like I'm changing clothes, because the character I am is the character I want to be but that still isn't me. So in the end, I'm the ghost girl. I'm the one who keeps stumbling around in the dark, never able to turn on the light. I'm the one who travels from person to person, and asking each one who they think I am. But they don't know either. How could they, when I can't tell them?

I am a meager twelve years old, and as is pointed out above, writing is my life. My in-progress novel, The Box, is what I would describe as somewhat popular on a less known writing site called Figment (if you've heard of it, across-the-internet high five to you) but I'm a newbie to wattpad, so we'll just have to wait and see if fame comes as easily here.
