Guys, I’m taking a little one-week break 😭
Not because I’m depressed or anything. Someone just randomly decided to change her major out of nowhere (can you believe?) and now that same someone is freaking out over the decision she made. She finally enrolled in the one she actually wanted, which cost her almost half her fortune, and now everyone around her is looking at her like she’s finally lost it.
She’s been acting all nonchalant about it for the past two weeks, but reality has finally caught up and she needs a minute to process what the hell she just did.
I’m also considering becoming a monk, so there’s that.
BUT good news: after this week, I have two or more free months while waiting for the new intake. Yay, I guess?
See you guys laterrr!!!

@anreahyunlix Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, honestly it's very reassuring to hear from someone who is currently 25 and has already been where I'm trying to get to🥹🤍it's amazing that you were able to pivot from the medical field to software engineering which the exact opp of waht i am doing! however hearing that you moved 500 km away and got through that scary and lonely period is incredibly heartening to me. In addition to that your mention of writing as an escape hit home to me since I am also kinda a small author! Writing has always been my safe space so I think I can relate to what you're saying. I hope to be able to channel my writing the most over the next few months and I know it'll help alot.Thank you for the kind words about my dad, as well as for saying that I'm stronger than I think. It means a lot to me since we haven't talked much before! Hopefully, I'll be able to look back on this point in time in a few years and feel as serene and confident as you seem to right now. @savi784 Oh my god, thank you so much for the wishes for my dad that really means a lot🤍 But wait, ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Data Science and Machine Learning to Mechanical Engineering?! How on earth do we have almost the exact same life right now?! That is actually insane! It feels so comforting to know I'm not the only 21-year-old traveling hundreds of kilometers away to start over and stressing about the fees and everything else. Thank you so much for saying that about my dream. Honestly, your words just gave me a huge boost of confidence when I really needed it....also that you just finished all your admission stuff makes me feel like I can get through mine too,you are an absolute gem, and I'm so glad we connected here!!!
