Sometimes dead is better... perhaps Louis Creed should've listened more closely to the words spoken by his neighbour, Judd Crandall.  Ellie Creed's cat, unknown to the family as a shifter, was tragically killed. Instead of leaving him be and burying him in the Pet Sematary, Church was taken past the Sematary, into the sacred burial grounds where Louis Creed spent all night burying him. When he rose from the grave however, he did not come back the same. When Ellie Creed died, the two were reunited in death and killed Judd Crandall together, the undead girl and her undead cat. Years have passed, the Creed family have long since been dead, but not Church. Residing in the abandoned Creed house, all alone, preferring to be alone as the shifter not too fond of company. He preys on stupid teenagers who dare each other to step foot into the house. Teenagers who will never been seen again.
