Why must we wage wars, causing pain and tears?
What's the point, the gain, in fueling our fears?
Innocent children, their lives torn apart,
What have they done to deserve this cruel start?
Why do we kill, when love should prevail?
Violence worshipped, a twisted tale.
Rivalry and hatred, tearing us apart,
Though we're one species, connected at heart.
We're all creations, under God's loving gaze,
Yet innocence perishes in power's craze.
Let's drop the guns, destroy the tools of strife,
Embrace love and compassion, for a peaceful life.
God made us to love, to give and to care,
Not to take what's not ours, not to despair.
So let's unite, in a world where violence is ceased,
Where love and understanding become our masterpiece.
