It's still just surprising to me since the official season 7 is coming out soon, and this fic isn't anywhere close to being finished- but I WILL finish it, don't worry!

I'm writing the next chapter right now and getting slammed with a wall of nostalgia... I started crying while writing because I just remember how much I used to love Aphmau's series, and to write the next chapter I've gotta go down memory lane.
Speaking of the next chapter, it might take me a little longer to finish, and there's no promises it'll be done by Wednesday.
(At the rate it's going, I'll expect it to be around 20,000 words long!! Or maybe even more! Who knows?!)
But hey, if I'm going to be crying while writing then I guess that'll get me into an emo angsty mood that'll produce more plot twists so I can cackle and not be in an emo angsty mood anymore :D

Also for my story it took a turn that I didn’t expect but am definitely embracing! The idea came to me at 4 am lol. Because I needed Aph to be more uncertain about herself and her past and I was like… you know what?! She’s healing a cursed soul! And she’s literally healing something like blindness! So it’s like a trade! AHAHAHAHAHA-
My sigma editor read chapter 39 and thought Aph was turning into a werewolf or getting her werewolf stuff taken away or something >_<
Anyways I’m almost done with volleyball season so after that I SHOULDN’T have too much trouble getting chapters out!
(Until…. Everything else starts up again in Spring… gulp)

@idk-9871 Suffering is also what got me into the fandom! I saw the livestream and Suffering was playing and I was lowkey vibing and I think I stayed until Scylla before I had to do something else. (I also sang Warrior of the Mind for my school’s talent show with my sigma editor… my school had no idea what I was even singing about it even though they’re all chronically on TikTok lol)
Your bio made me laughed especially when you referred the new Aphmau Channel content as cocomau also I’m not sure if you know this or not but Aphmau on her second channel called Aphmau Diaries (Yeah she keeps rename it I think this is the third time) there are like maybe two Roleplay videos about the Mermaid series not sure if it’s a sequel or not but yeah additionally I think that’s where My Street Season 7 will also be releasing once the exact date is known if you are still interested in watching her that is.

I’ve been really busy… I want the next chapters to be really high quality since that’s what I’ve had in mind for the past 3 years of my life, and it was supposed to be super awesome and stuff! Now that we draw closer to those more important moments of the story, it kind of seems slightly anticlimactic when I try to write it -_- (I’ve trashed four drafts already) So… that’s that…
