@FUNERALGREY I agree that def is a huge part of it. he’s also just not a forceful guy, he’s pretty quiet, and just like approachable. It’s not completely and totally out of left field but for that to be the main assumption is soooo lazy 

i’ve never watched criminal minds, but i have an assumption that everyone believing that is bcs his character is autistic (or at least autistic coded) and EVERYONE infantilizes autistic people
