calling people out will not serve any purpose (for now) and so i’ll call out the problem. people need to stop using AI in writing, whether that be fics or forms— society’s getting increasingly desensitised to how harmful AI can become. take the sixteen year old who was pushed by chatgpt to commit suicide, then offering to write his suicide note for him. and take the fourteen year old who was groomed by character ai and encouraged to kill himself so he could “join the chatbots”. rest in peace. AI developers who make AI tools like these so easily and wholly accessible to children for a mere increase in profit and usage will never not be pieces of shit. and those of you who use AI for something as human as the art of writing will never have respect from me, and the many brilliant authors out there, some of whom i know, who actually work on their art. it’s always easier to copy than to create, after all.

not celebrating a man's death does not equate to sympathising for him, supporting his beliefs, or showing pity to the right. it's a matter of humanity, and recognition that misplaced violence will get us nowhere— instead, it'll only deepen the hostility for the left that already runs strong through the right, and serve to increase the urgency with which the right's principles are now spread through american society. my sympathy lies with his family though— because whatever it is, at the end of the day, his children and spouse did not deserve to watch their father and husband get shot in cold blood, and neither did the college students gathered there to partake in a public forum

@daemos_ | !! & people who use the situation in gaza as part of their argument on this matter should really think and rethink and rethink again, you're comparing two instances of violence of very different magnitudes and kinds and one situation being grave and the other being not as grave but grave nevertheless, the lesser situation being used to advance the importance of the more grave situation is disrespectful to those involved in the latter </3 both situations are direct products of targeted violence
