Hi! I actually am doing well, thank you! I hope you are too. I’ve been thinking about it lately. I have a small part of the next chapter done, but it’s been really tough to finish. I will finish eventually!

Wow, I forgot I wrote that last post in April. I’m at such a different place, mentally speaking (in a great way!). It’s time to wrap up Your Healing Touch. I can’t believe it’s been so long since I started the story. I didn’t think it would take this long to complete it, but life happens. Thanks for sticking with me y’all! I truly appreciate the support and patience! I’m slowly working on the next chapter and there will probably be only 1-2 after that. Hope y’all are doing well!

....Hi there. So, since the last time I posted a message, beginning of December last year, a lot has happened. I’m usually more private but I feel like y’all deserve an explanation for why the wait has been even longer than it already was at the time. Two weeks after I posted the December message, my whole family got COVID, including me. That took a toll on me physically and mentally. Then, the beginning of this year my grandpa died and we couldn’t have his funeral until March because of the impact COVID had in my state. So, a lot has been happening in my life and I’m just now getting the desire to write back. After rest, prayer, and a lot of self-care, I’m now at a good place mentally. I wrote a good chunk of the next chapter today so I really really promise that this time you can expect an update very soon. It will be within the next week! Thanks for being so patient with me everyone and for not abandoning the story! I appreciate you all!

          ...I don’t know where to begin lol. I think it’s been about 5 months since I’ve updated, maybe even longer. I’ve never gone this long without updating my story before and I’m sorry. It’s been a crazy and busy year for me during this pandemic. Honestly, I can’t say for sure when I’ll be updating the story again, BUT I promise I haven’t abandoned it. Call it writers block, but not a disinterest in writing. The story will be coming to an end soon and I’m having difficulty finding the ending I want. Thank you to everyone who is still reading, re-reading, and voting for my story! I love you all and hope you’re doing well and staying sane!

          I can’t believe it’s already been nearly 2 months since I’ve updated. I’ll be working on the next chapter next week. I feel so bad that it’s been this long! Today, someone added my story to their “abandoned books” reading list!  shocking lol because I haven’t abandoned my book even though it may seem that way. I hope you’re all doing well!

          I’m still working on the next chapter, but I wanted to check in with you all. I’m still in school and it’s double the work now that everything is online, but I’m pushing through it! Anyway, it’s Mental Health Awareness Month and I just wanted to encourage you all to take a break from all the craziness that’s going on and breathe. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, step away from social media and the news for a bit, go on a walk, meditate, try taking deep calming breaths, or reach out to someone. I’m not a therapist or psychologist by any means, but if you just want someone to vent to, send me a private message and I’ll listen (or read in this case lol). We can make it through this!

Hey would you be updating Your healing touch?? Not rushing just curious.

I’m working hard to finish the next chapter! I’ve had a few people ask me when I was going to update again. I realize it has been two months since the last update and I apologize for leaving you all on a cliffhanger. I went back to school after a 2 yr hiatus shortly after the last update. I have exams, assignments, research papers, you name it! Lol. Anywho, I had a burst of inspiration this morning and I am halfway done with the next chapter. I have more to write but as soon as I am done writing this post, I have to get ready for class! So please bear with me a little longer! The wait will be over soon, but please don’t be angry with me when you read what happens next! It may not be what you expect, but it’s what I feel is next in the story.
