@MaameSaah7 that just made my day thank you ❤️. I don’t have a date for you but I can say it’s next on my list. I’m currently working on a book that I plan to self publish for the first time so the process is taking me longer than I expected. I can promise you this story will be finished. I never expected it to take this long though.

Going through a phase of feeling no motivation to write. I feel like maybe I’m not meant to be a writer. But I also can’t stop dreaming about book signing, meeting my readers in person, having my books adapted etc. it’s a horrible back and forth but I’m trying to push through it. Much love

Hi everyone! I’ve been a bit scared to speak on this but I realize that these are my stories and a big part of the reason why I created my platforms is to be able to speak freely. I have seen people talk about how Lena isn’t “strong” or that she’s “weak” because she gives in to what people deem easy. You are of course allowed to have your own opinions and I would never try to change them. I just want to remind people that there are different types of being strong. You may see Lena as weak but in my opinion, she isn’t. She’s going through a difficult time and although she has prepared for this, your plan isn’t always how it comes out. As an author, I know the feeling. As much as I picture this perfectly made story in my head, when it comes onto the page it’s not the same and that’s okay. I also want to touch on a disagreement about how “white” Lena is. I just don’t see it. Lena is a black woman and so am I. I create black women characters the way I see them in my head and I’m sorry you read them only one way but I don’t. Sorry for the rant. I just needed to get that out.

New reader but I definitely agree with what you said, all characters should be diverse in feeling and experience. Woc specifically get stereotypes attached to them so it’s important for them to be dimensional
