Here's an excerpt from Clio that I'm writing for fillers. SO THAT YOU GUYS WOULD READ IT.
Clio high on a human's hemp filled blood:
"You ever realize..." She lifted a hand, pointing a wobbly finger at the room. "The names. Look at the names."
She pointed to him, then to Athenodora. "Aro. Athenodora. The A's."
She pointed to Caius, then to herself. "Caius. Clio. The C's."
She pointed to the couple in the armchair. "Didyme. And... D'Marcus." The room went silent.
Marcus looked up slowly. "Excuse me?"
Clio giggled. It was a wet, uncoordinated sound that bubbled up from her chest.
"Change your name," she advised him, patting Aro’s knee. "You're the odd one out, Marcus. It ruins the set. We should be coexisting. The A's and the C's and the D's."
She sat up fully, eyes wide with the brilliance of her discovery.
"Aro," she whispered loudly, leaning in close to his face. "You have a big D."
Aro froze.
Caius dropped his dagger. It clattered loudly on the stone floor.
Felix, by the door, turned around and started shaking with silent laughter.
"My love," Aro said, his voice very calm, though his eyebrows had climbed into his hairline. "I beg your pardon?"
