to all the writers, please always check if your stories have been plagiarized/copied, and if you're a reader who noticed something like that, please report it immediately and tell the real author.
my story "introvert" had been plagiarized and thankfully, it was taken down already, yet, it still pisses me off. i finished writing that story around 2017, and it was copied on 2018. all the exact same thing, even my own notes, and i just recently discovered it (2021), thanks to someone who noticed and told me. imagine what i felt seeing that story sitting around here in wattpad for 3 years already and getting comments from her readers. so i tried reporting it to the wattpad team, flooded the plagiarized story with mad comments, wrote on that account's message board, and i also tried messaging them here and to the linked instagram account on her profile. actually, she replied on insta but she kept denying that she's the owner of that wattpad account. it's pretty obvious that she's lying and it's just really infuriating. but even though she's denying it, just right after i talked to her, it was deleted already. i just hope her other stories weren't also plagiarized and just completely stopped doing that.
and lastly, i hope that those kind of people just stop doing this already. JUST PLEASE. please have originality with your stories, there's no need to do such thing. it's better to gain compliments and good comments about your story when you write it on your own rather than getting praises and stuff for something you didn't even make. come on, wake up, it's 2021 already. don't put yourself on such a low level.
