Rachel E. Bevan

I've been writing short stories, ever since I could write.  From 2-page haunted house tales, to winding descriptions of my favourite places, and the classic 'what did you do over the holidays' homework.

Now a 28-year old mother, working with people with learning disabilities, I've had chance to look back at my life and the things I've been through.

With no other real outlet, I started writing about my life. And thus was born my main work - fictional, but based in fact, heartbreaking, but my story: The Other Side.

When I'm not writing, I'm usually chasing round after a lively five year old, or chasing round after lively 40 year olds' at work. My dream is to have a full hour, in a hot, bubbly bath, with a good book, a big glass of Merlot, and zero distractions. 

While the dream remains to one day be published and a recognised author, just to share my story at all is a huge step for me; to everyone who takes the time to read, thank you!
