hi everyone! (˶ˆᗜˆ˵) yk what time it is. emma is leaving on another deployment time!
before you ask, “aren’t you worried about going to the middle east?” the answer is no—because in august, i was in bahrain—which i’m sure you’ve seen in the news. for most of my last deployment, i was stationed in the fifth fleet, which was just the target of the recent attacks from iran. so no, i’m not worried, because i already know what to expect.
while it is scary, and extremely saddening, and often times i wonder why i chose this career, it’s something i do have to do out of a commitment i made at an immature age. to me, it really is just a job. so, i’m leaving again. i’ll miss you guys, and take it easy! don’t forget to keep yourself educated on what’s going on.
