@bigfcct ) just as soon as little betsy thought she'd gotten ahold of her abilities, something just had to go wrong. she had been practicing just as xavier and jean had taught her, but quickly learned that practicing on her brother's old medical supplies was not a good idea. especially when it came to sharp inanimate object. normally, she was more intentional and not as prone to being more reckless with her practice. but, things weren't going well, and she got reckless and desperate. long story short, betsy had dropped a pair of surgical scissors straight down onto her shoulder. "uh, i... it was an accident. it was my fault.. i'm sorry." convincing herself that the pain wasn't real, she clutched her arm tightly as she took a seat.
