"  she shrugged , playing with a strand of her hair the entire time she spoke . It was a rare sight , seeing her this genuinely happy . 

Adan  glanced  down  at  his  chest  where  she’d  shoved  him,  expression  unreadable.  If  careful  meant  weird  today,  he’d  let  her  have  it.    "    okay...  but  if  you  change  your  mind,  the  offer’s  still  there,    "   he  added  with  a  shrug,  eyes  lifting  back  to  hers.

            " No , stop . Don't be weird . "  she playfully shoved at Adan's chest , shaking her head in disapproval . She did like this guy , really , and was worried for her whole little fantasy to get dragged through the mud . She was content for once , and she was genuinely scared of losing that .

            " Can I go home ? "  she sounded bored asking that , eyeing the door that was slowly getting further away . Maybe she could just book it , a knife was never something but a bit of fun really . So no recognized threat there . 

“ Then let me tell you how you should act properly, since i’m the older one and more mature. You come over to my place and you ask /politely/, if you can come in. “ Griffin spoke taking one careful step toward her after another, the knife held firmly in her grasp to her side. “ And if I say /no/, or /not right now/ you say, okay! I’ll come by another time or simply ask for me to return your things later. A third option! You could just ask me to bring it out to you. Do you understand?             " I just wanted to grab my shit and go , Griffin . "  she wasn't lying , she just wanted her box and then she'd be off , but someone had to make a whole deal out of it . Not like it hadn't happened before , she didn't see the big deal . Livius was tuning Griffin out for the most part now , stupid threats doing nothing for her , what a bummer .

            " No , no ... it's . It's ok . "  Livius shook her head in protest , slowly blinking , clear as day struggling to keep herself awake . She wasn't hungry anymore , but letting her food go to waste would be a shame and she'd feel nothing but guilt about it when she woke up .
