Pablo's promo releases on Sunday. His POV is unfiltered, so it's a lot of fun to write. But so exhausting.

          	---------
"Pablo plowed his clammy face onto his pillow. Soft linen, cotton trim, stuffed with feathers and fluff. A f***ing scouring pad. He rolled over, clutching his sheet tightly around himself. His head still pounding from the liquid he didn't sleep off. There was a word for this.
          	mother-ducking, dock-sucking Regret.

"Pablo! You awake?" From just outside his tent.
          	---------

So, I just fell down the rabbit hole of your Wattpad story [Insert Book Title], and let me say—your characters had me side-eyeing my own friends like, “why aren’t you written this well?” . But then I checked the review section… and yeah, let’s just say it’s emptier than my fridge on a Sunday night. Brutal truth: readers don’t trust books that look lonely, even if the story slaps. Here’s the messed-up thing—authors spend money on flashy promos, only for readers to scroll past like “cute, but who said this book is actually good?” . Reviews, not ads, are what make readers bite. That’s why I built a little army (1500+ readers across different countries) who actually read, reflect, and then drop genuine reviews—the kind of reviews you can’t fake or buy off a Fiverr clown. You can literally start with 20–50 real readers, and instead of begging for credibility, you suddenly own it. And that’s when people stop scrolling and start reading. Now, here’s my psycho question for you: do you want your book to keep playing hide-and-seek with readers, or do you want it screaming “read me, you cowards!” with reviews that slap harder than caffeine at 3 a.m.? For contacting me my email is freddieolivia5@gmail.com

@page_mars Hi,

I’m really sorry for the late reply. And just to clear things up, you are not paying for reviews or marketing. What we do is completely above board. You won’t be sending any payment directly to me. Everything goes through our Community Readers Distribution Manager on Upwork, so it’s all secure and transparent.

Here’s how it works: you simply choose how many readers you’d like to start with, most authors begin with 10. These readers will read your book, reflect on it, and share genuine, thoughtful feedback that naturally turns into reviews. You’re not buying opinions; you’re simply tipping readers $20 each as a thank-you for their time, effort, and yes, the emotional rollercoaster your story might put them through.

So there’s nothing to worry about, no scams, no fake reviews, no shady dealings. Just real readers, real experiences, and real credibility for your book.

Would you like me to ask the distribution manager to prepare the 10-reader invoice for you on Upwork so we can begin?

@Freddieolivia Thank you for the clarification.
I definitely understand the value of a real, thoughtful review.
Broken English also doesn’t sound make it sound legit.
I am not interested in paying for reviews.

            Thank you for reaching out.

HI all~
Locus is still forward-moving. ~ Didn't think I'd be able to keep up the weekly pace, but here it is.

That being said, I have some fairly lengthy chapters, and I've decided to alternate between splitting them and publishing new ones until they're all a bit more readable.

This also gives me time to revise voice in previous chapters for consistency.

The next update will be a split for Miles Apart. Miles Apart may end up being three parts.

Pablo's part is next, and I'm excited to share his colorful, unfiltered voice.

Locus Prologue 'Miles Apart' part 2 releases today.

Things are a little messy in his love life, but dangit Miles, you're on an important mission!

He could use a nice hot cup of tea and or a giant tub of ice cream.
But it's probably more likely he'll be getting the torch and pitch fork treatment.

          Stay tuned for the update~

Finally!

          Locus launched today,
          A republishing of Inherited:Rebirth.

It only took some mild headaches, sobbing and editing for the hundredth time that I decided it was time to close my eyes, publish and let it fly!

Only prologue part 1 is out right now, but part 2 will be ready for publishing next week, and continue where part 1 leaves off.

Get to know The girl with no name, and Miles as one of them overcomes life threatening obstacles, and the other… digs their own grave.

          More to come :)

I'm going to be removing and republishing Inherited: Rebirth as a new story in September. So I will be taking down the current story at the end of August.

It'll have the same cover and such, I just want to start fresh after I've dabbled into different artistic choices. I'll probably still do a little bit of style tweaking, but I want to keep progressively putting out chapters instead of fixing drafts.

Same story, some minor alterations that don't impact plot.
I'll start uploading prologue chapters weekly until they're out.

Depending on how quickly I'm able to keep up the writing for chapter 1, I might be able to put content out weekly, but I may also take a break to let the published prologue sit while I draft Chapter 1.

          Before:
          Emi's phone hissed and crackled.
She slapped it to make it stop.
          Miles flinched.

          After:
Freaking radio. Why couldn’t it just be a call instead of this crap? Emi smacked the phone hard. The noise stopped, but the sound still fogged Miles’ ears.

          before:
Sansi had been talking to Cass the whole truck ride.

          after:
If only Miles had warned him.
          'Hey Pablo, Cass is coming.'
Maybe he could’ve mentally prepared, but no. The little dip**** had taken off hours beforehand with the scouting team without a word and left him with… her.

          before:
She rounds a corner beside a shuttered shop.
Slouched against the siding is a man in a cotton cap.
He's crumpled low, like he's folding into himself.

His long gray hair falls beneath the brim,
          beard bushy, crusted even.
          His cheeks cave inward.

          After:
A man slumps half-propped against the wall of a shuttered shop. She knows a corpse when she sees one. This one is alive.

She crouches beside him, watching to see if her presence will wake him. It doesn’t. His breath comes through what little teeth he has left. His face is more beard than skin, the bristly mess spilling from his nose, into his ears, and reaching toward his waist.

Once thoughts escape the mind, they are an echoe into the universe that says “this is me.”

That's why words are both beautiful, and dangerous.

A slip in the mouth and misunderstood intentions is the cause of many problems we face today.
