Some people can be so disrespectful. I’ve seen it a lot, not just in my books, but in other authors' books too. You know what I mean? Commenting in someone else’s book about a different book, or coming to my book and talking about another author’s work. Keep that elsewhere. If you like my book, comment about my book. Want to discuss other books? Go to their comment section.
It’s just bad behavior, especially when people start asking for recommendations in the comment section. Like, you go to Author A’s book and see, “What other books are like this one? Do you guys have the title? Do you like this.... book? That book?” WTH? Do you even respect their work?
We’ve got X’s community for that kind of thing. Go there, ask for recommendations, and talk freely about any books you like. That’s what those group chats and communities are for.
This space? It’s for you to enjoy the story, to talk about the plot, the characters, the book you’re reading. THE BOOK. It’s normal to comment on that.
Authors deserve appreciation. They put so much into every word they write because they appreciate you too.

If they're caught up with all of your books, I don't see the harm in it, but I have no problem doing what you ask
