Octavia Grant was born in Georgetown, SC and relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 2012. While in South Carolina she attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College and graduated with an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She then received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Phoenix in Organizational Security and Management. Though she is a college graduate, her passion has always been Creative Writing. In 2002 while a Junior in high school she won an award for a short story she wrote entitled, The Hyenas Laugh. Ms. Grant enjoys reading Urban Literature, Audiobooks, as well as writing short stories. She was signed to True Glory Publications in December 2016. However, in November 2018 Octavia made the decision to become self-Published and started her own company, M-DOC Creations Publications.
