Roughly 2 months after my last update on here, my mother passed away suddenly. What would have been her birthday just passed a few weeks ago. It's been a rough couple of months so far, and Mother's Day is coming up soon as well which I know will also be hard.
My mom was one of my biggest fans of my writing and actually read all of my stories on here.
The last time I would ever see her was at my wedding in October 2019. As we all know shortly after that in 2020 the pandemic happened, and that ended up preventing me from visiting her all the way up to her passing.
Even then, during that weekend of my wedding, she asked me when I was going to write more on multiple occasions. I kept saying I want to but I just can't find the motivation to, and also what I explained to you guys in my last update. But, somewhere in my mind I thought that yes, someday I would finish writing something new to be able to share with my mom, because I knew she'd be so excited to read anything I wrote.
Of course, we never know what the future holds, or when someone will be taken from us. The easy thing is to keep putting something off and saying 'someday'. But now that someday will never come.
I need to start writing again, as this has been a rude awakening for me that I can't just keep putting it off, and it also would be a great release for me probably for a lot of different things.
That being said, this writing will likely be totally different than what I have done before. I won't be revisiting old stories or the same characters; I can't really say what it will be until I have the pen in hand so to speak. Whatever it ends up being, if it's not to your liking, don't feel bad for passing it up. It's just something I feel I need to do, for me.
Regardless, thank you again to everyone who continues to read my old material, and the people still discovering it to this day for the first time. It's truly been a journey.

@orbajomadness I am so sorry for your loss. At least, she has been and always will be your greatest supporter, and biggest fan. I have seen so much death of loved ones, and only my mom and dad were and always will be my greatest supporters and fans. My dad passed away in 2015, my Grandma passed in 2016, my mom passed in 2019 (my Grandma I mentioned was her mom), then my cousin in 2020. Life always comes full circle and is full of joy, love, pain and death. I think your mom would always want you to write whatever is in your heart and passion. Nothing will ever change that. Just keep writing. I took, I think a two year break from writing and it was rough for me. I know all about the Writer's Block and death, but she's in a better place for you, and will always be apart of you. Hang in there, and if you'd ever want to talk feel free to send a message to me. That is only if you'd ever want to talk with someone different, and could relate. It's up to you and Stay Strong, okay? I'm a fan but I respect privacy. Stay true to yourself, and lots of love from Canada. <3 I'm here for you.

I decided to randomly check this account tonight for some reason, because I'm helping a friend write a military fanfic and it reminded me of my past works. It's cool to see people still reading now many years later. Thanks for reading and enjoying! I really want to get back into writing again, but I've had writers block for years due to ptsd and many other factors. I'm sorry if I let people down by not finishing stories; I assure you, it hurts me more to know I'm incapable of writing when it's my main passion. Anyway, again, thanks for reading and supporting my stories for this many years, it really means the world to me. Stay safe and take care.

Your such a good writer. I have re-read Drill Sergeant Lovato and First Sergeant Lovato multiple times. Plz come back and start writing again! Have you ever thought about publishing a book about your military experience or a fiction book about characters in the army? Because you are an extremely good writer
