I have a request for the voltron angst, you don't have too though but here it comes.
          
          
          
          
          Everybody  is on a mission(Coran and Alura are in the ship) and they needed supplies so they sent lance to the village because he was being a "nuisance".The people took lances helmet and beat him for his skin color(ya know to highlight racism).They him beat him so much he bled the aliens walk away leaving lance to die a slow agonizingly painful death thinking how this was meant for him that they'll find a better suitable paladin.
          
          
          Extra:Keith finds him and tells the others while having a panic attack
          
          Super extra:Blue rejects any other paladins to pilot her. 
          
          Totally not mandatory:Keith falls into depression
