Hello, I'm Jacky Lee-an author who's endlessly fascinated by the quiet magic where "the cosmos" meets "the heart." My work leans into emotional sci-fi: I don't just write about starships, stardust, or time dilation-instead, I use those vast, awe-inspiring sci-fi backdrops to wrap up the small, vital things that make us human: a parent's letter, a child's growing dream, the way love lingers even when light-years stretch between two people.

My inspiration often comes from the overlap of "everyday warmth" and "cosmic wonder"-like watching my niece mail a drawing to her dad (who works abroad) and wondering: if we could send letters across space, what would we *really* want to say? That curiosity led to stories like *Stardust Letters*, where interstellar travel isn't the point-the point is a father and daughter clinging to each other through stardust and time.

For me, sci-fi is never just about "the future"-it's about asking: "What parts of us stay the same, no matter how far we go?" I hope my stories leave you with a little warmth, a little wonder, and a reminder that even the biggest universe feels small when it's filled with people we care about.

Feel free to reach out-I love hearing how my work connects with your own stories of love and longing!
