!!!IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!! (feel free to skim but please read the whole thing):
          
          Hi everyone, before we start, I'd like to thank everyone who has been following me since I was an obnoxious middle schooler. I can't believe so many people are still following me when I only come out of the woodwork just to say random stuff and then I dip for another 4 months. So thank you to all of you who are still here when I have now become an obnoxious college student.
          
          Moving on, In mid august my family went back to Jamaica for my grandfather's (my dad's dad) funeral and my parents used up a lot of savings for the travel and funeral expenses.
          
          At the beginning of September we found out that my dad has stage four Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer). My dad has been unable to return to work and my family is now down one source of income. I am away at college 2hrs away but my step-mom has been taking care of my dad and my little sister (11yo) while working two jobs.
          
          My older sister has created a GoFundMe that is meant to help mortgage, monthly bills, and travel costs incurred while my dad goes for treatment, and other expenses. You can read more details about the our situation there if you would like (I didn't want to make this post too longwinded in the hopes people would actually read to the end).
