Too deep footsteps to run and try.
Prayers behind her balmy sky
Are to bury her weary lie. 

Drowned and never healed from scratches
You thought were shells but sugar tells.
Keen jaundice eyes they throw and yell.
Where will you go bloom, and dwell?

White clouds under the eyes of all
That you always own, form, and call.
Many feet have stepped on your shore.
Yellow tattoos and sand that crawl.

Some carved like a splash of red wine.
Yet you still do blaze like March line.
The thunder of August on spite
Was the roots to fight and to light.
