Im sorry that i havent posted this week, im having a huge writers block. I know what i want chapter 17 to be about but i cant think of any words to put down. Im working on it but i fear its going to take long. If you have any ideas please write them down<3
For the ones wondering why i havent posted in a week (If i dont post next week) : If I don’t post next week, I’m most likely taking a brief break. I’ve been aiming to drop one or two chapters every week, but it’s tough to stay motivated when reader interaction drops. I feel like some people pull away because the MMC is younger than the FMC, but honestly? That was the entire point of this book. It shows that in the mafia world, power doesn't come with a set age, it can happen whenever and to anyone. I also know some readers prefer submissive female leads who quietly accept whatever happens to them, but that's just not my style. I've always disliked stories where female characters can't stand their ground. Women are strong and capable, especially in dangerous situations, and it frustrates me that mafia romance doesn't showcase that enough. I genuinely love writing this story, and to that one reader who constantly interacts with my polls, AHHH, thank you! You are literally the main reason I keep posting every week! But watching the view count drop naturally drains my writing motivation. Not seeing the views or engagement can be really tough mentally, especially when seeing AI-generated books take off. It feels like on Wattpad nowadays, if you weren't popular back in 2020–2023, the odds are goign to be against you because so many people settle for AI content instead of supporting real, heartfelt writing. Using AI for accessibility or basic proofreading is one thing, but using it to generate entire plots, characters, book covers, character aesthetics and scenes takes away from what makes storytelling real. If I do end up taking a short break, that’s why. On a brighter note, I truly appreciate every single one of you who reads and supports my story, it means the world to me! @nikilolly Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii The age difference is one of the reason I'm reading this novel because it is mostly the men that are older 😭and I also like the fact the mafia is asian🤭 cause they are mostly italians or something of sort, I've not gone far along in the novel But I love it already🤭
