Hey y'all! I have no idea who reads these so if you do let me know. I just wanted to reach out and share with my followers that I am still working on Damage Control. I plan to have a rewrite Chapter One to Three yet again for the simple fact that I am pouring everything into this piece and I need it to be AMAZING! Not just good and definitely not bad. In the past, I've prioritized the immediate publication of each chapter over the quality of the chapters. I need to take the time to let the work marinate and develop and unfold IN MY MIND, before I release it, therefore, opening it up to judgement before it's even what I envisioned. I've always been a "great" writer, whatever that even means but, in my long attempt to write this book, I finally recognize that being a good writer isn't the goal nor the answer. You can be a great writer and still not write an amazing story. It's hard and humbling but now that I understand this, I am determined to finish this piece and make sure it's my absolute best. Wish me luck and extend/offer me patience! Please support me by reading the chapters as they're posted, commenting, voting and the most important: SHARING! I appreciate you all and hope that you're as excited as me to see this story blossom. :)
