[   the teal - haired individual's voice cracked as their words came out loudly. their face held a look of distress &, surprisingly, anger.   ]   that   necklace   means   the   /   world   /   to   me   &   you   just   —   you   just   /   lose   /   it?!

            wincing  from  the  yelling,  he  slightly  shook  his  head,  reminding  himself  to  not  show  / any /  weaknesses.  of  course,  yelling  had  to  be  one  of  them.  realizing  the  sudden  change  of  mood,  he  panicky  covered  them  back  up  after  realizing  what  he  had  just  done.  chewing  the  inside  of  his  cheek,  he  picked  at  his  black  nails,  obviously  anxious.  he  nodded,  " i  know,  i  know.  i  might  have  an  idea  on  where  it  might  be,  actually. "  he  had  a  half  smile,  rubbing  the  back  of  his  neck  awkwardly.  he  knew  the  other  didn't  mean  for  that  sudden  outburst  to  happen,  and  even  if  they  did,  he  honestly  deserved  it.  pulling  out  a  leather  book  from  his  pocket,  he  let  out  a  content  sigh.  " yeah,  i  know  where  it  is.  don't  worry,  temmie. "  flipping  through  the  pages  of  the  book,  he  finally  found  the  most  recent  part.  it  had  shown  the  cords  of  mostly  everywhere  he  had  went  today.  he  never  understood  why  he  does  that,  but  it  definitely  comes  in  handy.  writing  down  the  cords  on  a  separate  sheet  of  paper,  he  placed  the  book  back  into  his  pocket,  re-reading  the  cords  again  and  again,  slightly  forgetting  about  temmie.

            you   /   hope   /   ?!   [   temmie ruffled their teal locks a bit out of frustration, the feeling of a lump growing in the bottom of their throat causing them to swallow. ruby orbs had caught glimpse of the other's horns, widening a bit as the owner of them temporarily forgot about what was happening. horns.. they didn't know he had horns.. not that it was / too / abnormal since a certain ram had horns as well — but still!   ]   ah   —   [   temmie shook their head, brushing the thought aside. necklace first, horns later.   ]   fine,   but   just   —   please,   ben   —   you   /   have   /   to   find   it.   the   emerald   on   it   is   the   only   thing   ..   it's   just   really   special   to   me!   [   they didn't mean to be so angry — they truly didn't. but their attachment to that emerald necklace was a strong one & if they ever lost it or it got broken.. well, the baker didn't know / what / they'd do.   ]

"  it -  it  was  an  accident !  i  could  easily  find  it !  i  hope . . "  he  mumbled  the  last  part,  due  to  him  not  being  fully  sure  if  he'd  be  able  to  find  their  necklace.  ben  wanted  to  just  flee  from  the  situation,  but  knew  goddamn  well  that  wouldn't  fix  a  single  thing.  anxiously  running  a  hand  through  his  hair,  he  revealed  the  horns  on  his  head,  forgetting  that  the  other  didn't  even  know  he  had  them,  probably  alarming  them.  " just,  just  give  me  some  time.  okay ? "
