I'm really late on this (been really busy as of late), but a year ago from the 27th, the world lost @CallMeCactipri . She was a talented young artist and author who was taken from us too soon.

I'm pretty late, but happy Indigenous Peoples' Day everyone! 
          Semi on-topic, but I'm kind of upset because I toootally wanted to make frybread to go with dinner tonight (my family is Native on my dad's side so I've had and made frybread tons of times before), but fricking PrE-cAlCuLuS wItH tRiG has my hands tied. 
          Anyways, Columbus Day is garbage. We don't stan him in this household. 'Nuff said.

          So I found out today (thanks to my U.S. Government and Economy class) that several of the American hero/quirk laws are actually against the Constitution and generally questionable, and now I am SOOOO ready to include a bit of history in my book where American heroes and vigilantes (and even some police, citizens, and even villains) get really angry and there's this whole period of uprising and AAAAAH I am EXCITED to write this!

So like, I woke up about a half hour ago and it took me that long to realize that today is September 11th. As in 9/11/2001. It didn't even hit me until I opened Snapchat and saw all the 9/11 stickers, and then I was like "SHIT, IT'S SEPT. 11th!" 
          
          So there's your daily dose of me knowing the date and not realizing that it's the anniversary of a major historical event I guess???? Aka me just being a bit of a numbskull lol. 
          
          I might lowkey make some Countryhumans art (haven't done that in like literal months lol) of America for the event, but that'll depend on how much school work I have to do today. 
          
          Anyways, Never Forget.  

Soooo I have reason to believe that I maaaay or may not be writing a new book, this one based in the universe of My Hero Academia/Boku No Hero Academia. 
          It's gonna have lots of action, lots of feels, and lots of All Might being your local dad and Aizawa being Aizawa, so if you like all of that you're in for a treat! 

Off topic, but apparently furmommies on TikTok are really uneducated about dogs. Especially when it comes to training dogs, working dogs, and dog breeding. 
          
          "Adopt Don't Shop" is a bad motto. "Adopt or Shop Responsibly" is a great one. There a reputable and responsible breeders, and there are backyard breeders only in it for the money (yuck). 
          There are also reputable shelters and shelters that are only in it for either the money or they take poor care of the animals there (yuck ×2). 
          
          You should adopt or buy a dog depending on your lifestyle and experience owning dogs. Do your research on breeders and shelters alike, and if you're buying a puppy do plenty of research on the breed. 
          
          Let's normalize both adopting AND shopping for dogs. Dog lovers, we should be uniting to stop both irresponsible breeding AND bad "rescues"/animal rights organizations (cough PETA cough). If we can eradicate bad breeding and bad organizations, I know we can get a lot more shelter dogs in homes and the public will be much better educated on responsible dog breeding too.
