HEY GUYS THREE THINGS:
          
          1. I LIVE!!! haven’t lurked on here for awhile so I think all my old mutual from the good old days (pandemic) are gone. but if you’re still here drop a “hi!” I am now several years into college, but just as much of a theatre kid/bookworm as before :)
          
          2. uhhhh thank you to anyone who’s been reading and voting on my Gale Hunger Games Fanfiction I wrote when I was in ninth grade, having never read/written a fanfiction before?? i came back to this app to 5K reads and a TON of random comments so thanks ig??? I think my writing has improved a LOT since then, so please check out my more recent works if you liked “Gale: A Hunger Games Story”! I’m basically leaving it up as a heritage piece/time capsule, not because I think it’s particularly wonderful writing.
          
          3. I JUST DROPPED A NEW STORY IN MY SHORT STORY ANTHOLOGY!!! if you forgot/are new, this was a challenge I started in 2022 where I used 19 prompts to write meet-cutes of all types!! from rollercoaster buddies to dog parents to lost trombones, there’s bound to be something you’d like to read there!! BUT READ THE NEW ONE IF YOU CAN!!!! I WORKED HARD ON IT 
          
          okay that’s all!!! thanks for letting me shout into the void :))

I saw Cursed Child yesterday!!
          
          It was FANTASTIC! Like, genuinely the best play I’ve ever seen (musicals are a class of their own though). The staging was stunning and the magic illusions were INCREDIBLE!!
          
          PS I used to wonder why people shipped Albus and Scorpius and thought it was a stretch but OMG THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS SO PURE

Youth theatre cast parties: drama, chaos, hot tubs, SOO much food, pizza, cake, crowded rooms
          
          Adult theatre cast parties: same, except there’s 50 adults instead of kids and alcohol involved
          
          (not for the kids of course, of which there are only three of us, myself and two ASMs)
          
          This is wild but I sort of love it, further proving my point that adult theatre kids are the best people on the planet

Me: Remind me to bring red lipstick tomorrow
          Dad: yknow who wears red lipstick?
          Me: Madonna
          Dad: do you know what Madonna is?
          Me: a Virgin.
          Dad: ... ok then

I have my first competitive improv event today!
          
          I’ve been mentoring an improv team at my school this year, even though I’ve only done club improv and not team improv. We have about 10 people who regularly show up to our club meetings and participate and although none of improv experience and none are absolutely STELLAR at improv, we do have a lot of energy and enthusiasm :)
          
          We’re travelling for an hour and showing up at this X-round event with absolutely NO IDEA what to expect but hopefully it’s a learning environment for everyone!
