Laughter fills the cramped room. Darkness soaks the majority of the surroundings, however, small streaks of light creeps in through the cracks of the walls that are starting to collapse at his feet.
Looking straight at the blackness that surrounded most of the room, he captures one of the glimpses of light.
She has returned.
His abnormal blood red lips faltered for a moment, almost getting caught off guard with a smile. Holding it back, he speaks without fear that he will scare her, "Who are you?" 
She stands there, against the darkness and shadows that dances around her. It's not the fear that grips the cords of her throat, preventing her from speaking, but the overwhelming feelings of everything crashing into her as an ocean crashes into a shore.
He stands, and his tall figure creates an eclipse against the light that the girl had brought in.
