Alright. I’ll just say it before anyone twists it: I screwed up. Big time.
Yeah
I’m the one who decided to cross lines I shouldn’t have.
I posted things hurtful, nasty things on your board, and yeah I targeted your readers too.
I thought I was clever. I thought I could stir chaos and get attention.
But what I did wasn’t clever. It was cruel. And it ended up only being me showing my own insecurities.
I won’t lie I was fucking jealous.
I was bitter. I saw your growth, your readers, your story’s success, and instead of leveling up myself I lashed out.
I even dragged another author into my mess
That doesn’t excuse a damn thing.
I can’t erase the words, the hate the confusion I caused. I can’t pretend it was a fever, or a bad day, or anything else. I made a choice. A terrible choice. And for that, I’m sorry.
I’m writing this here because you deserve it. I’m not hiding behind another account this time.
I’m not trying to make it look like anyone else did it. I’m owning it.
You didn’t deserve the chaos. Your readers didn’t deserve it. And the author I dragged into this… didn’t deserve it.
I can’t promise I’ll ever be anyone’s “favorite” person.
But I can promise I won’t pull this stunt again. I’ll leave your boards alone, your readers alone, your story alone.
This is me @queencard_ saying: I went too far. I know it.
I’m not claiming to be a saint. I’m not claiming you’ll ever forgive me. or even like me.
If there is any other specific way you want me to make amends a public retraction worded by you, a private apology to particular people, or whatever I accept full responsibility.
And I’m done.
I hope, someday, this apology is enough to show that I at least understand how badly I messed up.
