i worked so hard and devoted so much time to making my fanfictions that getting hate on them, although i don’t take any of it too heavily, confuses me. why would someone take the time out of their day to keep reading something just to express their distain towards the choices the author tediously made to create a story? it wasn’t easy writing up to 6,000 words per chapter and formulating it just right to be cohesive and entertaining. if you don’t like what you’re reading then stop and don’t comment. who is benefitting from commenting on what you don’t like? no one.
