I really want to write a book but I’m not sure where to start.. any advice?

Always have a plot & some main ideas!!! 
            (I always write these in my notes app bc if Wattpad goes like- crazy or something?- i don’t want them getting deleted) 
            
            (And make sure your not changing big things too much: 
            
            Small things : faceclaim, adding minor characters , basically anything that doesn’t affect the plot / writing. 
            
            Big things : oc name (OML I HAVE THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS- I always go back and forth in my mind about what name I should do and end up using search & replace for like 2 hours) 
            
            reach out to like a mutual (my pms are always open if u want advice/feedback) or someone ur good friends with on here if u need help on the story!! 
            
            and don’t set like time things for you to have chapters done in (like basically saying “I’m gonna have chapters 3-7 done in three days”. When I do this I lose like all of my motivation to write the story)
