Hey everyone! For those of you who enjoyed "The Things That Stay", I've been writing and posting the new draft over the last few weeks! Please check it out, and maybe even vote if you want to help me out!

I LOVED Paper Stars! Once I started it I couldn’t bear to put it down. It truly is a beautifully written story. I wish more people could read it.

Okay, big story update! For quite awhile now, I’ve been seriously considering changing Benjamin and Daniel’s names to Isa and Ira. Isa [ee-sah] is the Arabic form of Joshua, and Ira [eye-rah] is a Hebrew name meaning ‘watchful’, and was also the name of King David's priest. I love their old names, but somehow they feel too mundane for the more fantastical world I’ve created, and these new ones sound so good together! I’d love to hear what you all think. While I’m quite sure I’ll eventually make the change regardless, I really value your opinions.

*bites nails waiting for an update to vergessenheit* I love every change that has been made between drafts. I found the FIRST draft and have been following every rendition of this story and every once in a while I forget about Wattpad, but then remember this story and come running back. Never never never stop writing. Your stories are all beautiful.

@TabLovesWriting Oh gosh that means a lot to hear! ;-; Thank you so much. Chapter 8 is in the works, I promise! I'm horrible and unprofessional, so I'm really slow when it comes to this sort of thing: I can only write in spurts when I'm inspired, and inspiration has been precious little as of late. I'm also a ridiculous perfectionist, so even when it's done, it'll take me way too long to edit as well, no doubt. Just know that I'll never abandon this story, and that readers like you give me the energy and willpower to keep going. Y'all make it all worthwhile.

@LitresOfCoke sorry, love :( I appreciate that you see such promise in my old, messy works haha but I can almost guarantee that they're going to remain shelved indefinitely: they were good for the skill and maturity level I was at while writing them (15-17 years old), but I've just outgrown them. I'm a year away from graduating college now, and in a completely different space than I was back then, both mentally and stylistically. I want to push boundaries with my writing now, and explore things that I would have never cared to explore when I was a teenager.
So as flattered as I am to hear that you love my old stuff, I really would encourage you to try reading my newer work. My first and only finished novel, Paper Stars, is available in its entirety, and its rewrite, Vergessenheit, is also being updated on here, as well. They're a culmination of all my passion and energy as an author, so if you enjoyed my old side projects as much as you did, I think you'd like these even better. Regardless, though, thanks for your kind compliments: I appreciate it <3

@LitresOfCoke Oh dear, both of those have been cancelled / shelved projects since high school :/ I don't think I've touched them for four years. If you want a story that's guaranteed to be an ongoing project, I'd suggest reading Vergessenheit
