End of an era...
Okay… this feels like I’m announcing a divorce, but here we are.
After spending quite a while writing fanfics about Joseph Quinn and his characters — and loving every moment of that creative journey — I think it’s finally time to say that this chapter has come to an end. My interest in him has faded, slowly but surely, and I’ve realized it’s not coming back. Even after watching Fantastic Four with the hope that it might rekindle the spark… nothing. The feelings just aren’t there anymore.
What is there now, though, is a brand new (and very intense) love for something that was always part of my childhood: The Beatles. I grew up with their music, but recently I’ve fallen deep into that world, and it’s become my new hyperfixation. So, yeah… Joseph Quinn, it’s not you, it’s me — and also Ringo Starr, apparently.
That said, I still have one last Joseph Quinn fanfic sitting in my drafts, and I’ll be posting it later today. It’ll be the final Joseph-related piece you’ll find on this blog — a little farewell gift, I guess.
I won’t be deleting or changing any of my old posts, so everything I’ve ever written will stay right here for anyone who still wants to read or revisit it. This blog might shift a bit and reflect my new obsession (you may or may not see Beatles/Ringo fics in the near future ), but I’m not going anywhere.
This isn’t a goodbye — just a farewell to an era that meant a lot to me. I discovered Joseph Quinn during a very difficult time in my life, and he brought me joy, comfort, and creativity when I needed it most. He’ll always have a soft spot in my heart.
To everyone who supported my writing, followed me, liked, commented, or reblogged my stories — thank you. Truly. You’ve made this such a lovely, welcoming, and inspiring space, and I’ll always be grateful.
Onwards, with love (and probably a lot of Beatles content)
