Howdy, been radio silent on here for a while, this app has sadly become decrepit compared to the bustling community it once was. But yeah it was my 19th birthday yesterday so I decided for old time's sake to come back here and look through my old stuff. Might pick back up on updating some of my works but I genuinely don't think there's anyone left to read them lmao

Imagine a horror movie where the monster looks into people's minds and takes the shape of beings it sees there to "blend in" or take the appearance of something that might discourage prey from running or threats from attacking, as it's natural form is incredibly vulnerable, with highly elastic but thin skin and no solid bones to protect its organs, as well as limited vision. Then it hides out in a psychiatric hospital, where it manages to move about and hunt with ease, and the movie follows a highly schizophrenic resident who happened to see it kill another patient in it's real form, and now has to find a way to defeat or escape it on their own- because who would believe them?- while also being unable to tell whether any of the things they hallucinate are the creature in disguise.

@Your_Friend_Jimmy Because they're going to be a Pokemon OC, the constraints are pretty loose, but rather than going for anything particularly literal (especially since they're not a trainer with any kind of type speciality) I'm really just looking for something that suits their appearance and vibe. They're very introverted and keep to themself a lot. At this point I think I'm leaning towards them being either enby or female, because I feel like feminine-leaning characters born with masculine features aren't represented in media enough!

@TheDragonQueenReads @Cl0udys_Th0ughts Exactly, the salinity, amount of foreign debris, and pH level of salt water would kill most pet/fresh water fish species within minutes (usually by dehydration), even if the temperature of cold or tropical is correct, but some people are just so dumb that their knowledge doesn't expand beyond "FiSh Go In WaTeR" and think they're being some kind of animal rights advocate by chucking domestic fish breeds straight into the ocean and then posting videos of it online. Also saw the article about a lady who claimed "saving turtles is her hobby" as she picked up a "turtle" and tossed it into a lake. Turns out it was a tortoise. Tortoises don't swim. (The tortoise survived but the girl was slandered so much it ended up actually being funny)
The fact that people actually voted for a guy who's just changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America is actually so mind-blowing. What's next? He can't rename BOTH the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean to the American Ocean. American Ocean One, American Ocean Two, perhaps? And he really thinks he can buy out the whole of goddamn Greenland? What is this, Monopoly: International Edition? @mewtwocool YUH you can google something like, i dont remember the exact title but, "guidelines for lgb tourists" or something like that, it's in one of the fancy ahh official websites and tbh to me it's crazy :sob: one of my friends even started calling us skittles the "lgtb" in a different order of letters "so they cant exclude the t" :(
