Hey all just posting to let y’all know that I haven’t forgotten about AN. I’ve written quite a bit but I still have a ways to go in terms of finishing and refining it properly. 
          
          I’m hoping that the next few months afford me more time to write so once again I’m asking that you please bear with me. 

Hi . It’s me your favourite procrastinator. I’m sorry that it’s been…a month…and change since I updated AN. I’m working on the last two chapters and I hope that I get them up before august is out. We’re almost there so bear with me . 

I’ve finally finished Trying To Forget! It’s been a long, wild ride and I’m so happy to be finished. Thank you guys for coming along with me ❤️. xxxx

Idk where else to vent so I’m doing it here. 
          
          I accidentally deleted chapter 38 of TTF. I viewed it as a viewer accidentally and when you do that wattpad adds a view to the actual published chapter and I didn’t want that (it confuses me when I see that there are “views” but it isn’t published) so I copied the contents of the chapter and pasted it into a new chapter then I deleted the old one with the fake view… and well I guess the new one didn’t save. So when I went to continue editing today it wasn’t there and ofc it wasn’t in my revisions because that would be too easy. I got so depressed when I realised that there was nothing I could do. I’m still depressed because I spent soooo much time writing it and it wasn’t easy to write, too. 
          
          Good news is that I wrote a lot of it out when I was planning the final chapters and because I was editing it yesterday a lot of it is still Freya in my mind but there are some added stuff that I didn’t write down :/ that came out really good so I’ll have to try to replicate it the best I can from memory. 
          
          This shouldn’t affect me uploading when it’s time as I can easily whip out a redo but it depressed me and so I had to share it somewhere. 
          
          This isn’t actually the first time that this has happened and I briefly started writing else where to keep it safe but I drifted back to wattpad… and this is what I get. Serves me right, I guess. *sighs*

          I was gonna post this announcement as a chapter, but I don’t wanna get y’all’s hopes up falsely, so hopefully, enough active readers follow me and will see this message. I know that by now y’all probably expected me to be posting but… I kind of underestimated how much I had to write to complete the story. I have four chapters written (that aren’t reader ready by the way) and I probably have three or four to go, so it looks like it’ll be closer to Christmas when I can finally tie up the story and post them all. I do apologise for the delay, especially when I said 2-3 weeks initially, but with exams around the corner, I have to shift my focus for a bit.

          So as you know, I’ve been working on one of my stories with the goal of completing it this summer. However, though I have what would have been the last few chapters planned, I honestly feel like I’m rushing to make the deadline. I’m not pleased with the amount of things that I have to leave out in order to finish it this summer. 
          
          This means that I sadly won’t be finishing it this summer and maybe not even this year as school and life tends to take up all of my time.  I do hope that online schooling allows me a little more time this semester but I am doubtful 
          
          I am proud that I was able to finish 9 chapters that I am satisfied with between the two stories. I am currently working on what will be the last chapter of AL for the summer so look out for that and maybe one or two new chapters before the year is done.

Alaskan Nights won 5-4 which means that I will complete it then move onto TTF. Thank you to those who voted, by the way. Xxxx

          As of today I have 4 votes for AL and 2 for TTF. I'm presently working on both stories while I wait for the final tally. I decided on the 7th of June to announce the story that I'll finish first and also to upload the next chapter of that story. If any more votes come in via my Inbox then I'll update so that you can know where the vote stands. Xxx

          So, I know that I promised last year to finally finish my two books within this year and I intend on keeping that promise to the best of my ability this summer. But, due to the pandemic and my shift to online school you can definitely imagine that writing was placed at the very bottom of my schedule. So! I’ve decided to solely work on one book at a time until I finish it then switch over and finish the other.
          
          That’s where this announcement comes in: I need you guys to basically “vote” to tell me which one you’d rather me work on first because if I choose it’ll be biased.
          
          You can post your vote under this announcement, under any of the most recent chapters on either story or message me privately. 
          
          Note that I’m still working on the last chapter of AN to post before I tally the votes so expect that (hopefully) within the week.
