" yeah just a small cut ,, " she replied and giggled nervously .  " homework ??  together ? " she asked ,,  dropping her pencil .  she froze up then started stuttering nonsensical things .  jade fiddled with her fingers then looked over at the clock .  " my shift ends in fifteen minutes .  we can go to my place if you want .  my little sister will be home but she won't be any trouble ,, " she replied and swallowed thickly .  her blush worsened and she tugged on her skirt .  " unless you had something else in mind ? " she questioned then arched her brow .  it kind of sounded like a date .  was it a date ?  no .  maybe ?  can girls do that ?  no maybe it was a friend date .  yeah .  a friend date .  oh gosh she was overthinking it .  she always overthinking .  was her room clean ? no it was definitely clean .  everything was always clean because she made sure it was .

She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear just for it to fall back in front of her face, huffing as she blew it from her face. Grinning slightly as she found Fleetwood Macs album named after the band, carefully pulling out vinyl with the sleeve of course. Jumping slightly from the loud thud, nearly dropping the vinyl which gave her a heart attack. Letting out a relieved sigh as she caught it, she looked over and let out a little chuckle. “ It's alright ” she said as she walked over, her boots making a slight noise as she walked. She looked at the thick textbook and winced slightly, remembering that she also had homework, but a different subject. Noticing the others finger as she fiddled with the corner of the vinyl sleeve, eyebrows furrowing. “ Paper cut? ” she asked, concern had washed over her face and tone. Nibbling her bottom lip as her gaze went to the textbook, humming quietly in thought before she looked at them again. “ When do you knock off? ” she had asked as she gently placed the vinyl down in a empty spot on the counter. “ We can go somewhere to do.. homework together if you want.. “ Her voice had trailed of slightly as she offered, slightly picking at her nails as her gaze drifted to the side a little. “ Only if you want to of course.. And if you can't that's totally understandable ” Her gaze quickly went to the other, reassuring them if it was fine if they couldn't.

" more than okay ,, " she answered and placed her chin on her palm as she leaned on the counter .  she scribbled away on the paper and started questioning if she should really buy some new shoes .  turning the page ,,  she hissed and looked at her finger . paper cut .  a small bead of blood formed and she held her finger up as she looked for some bandaids .  it wasn't too serious but she didn't want to get blood on the merchandise . she was rummaging behind the counter and let out a frustrated huff .  her manager never put things back where they go .  she wasn't sure if it was on purpose or if they really were that messy .  popping back up ,,  she looked at her finger again and the blood started to drip .  how can paper be so deadly ?  jade placed her finger in her mouth to stop it from dripping more .  she cringed at the taste of rust and looked back at her paper .  she needs to start on that homework now before she forgets about it .  taking her finger out her mouth ,,  she pulled out her backpack and lifted out a thick biology textbook .  she huffed and lugged the book onto the counter with a loud thud . the sound startled her and she jumped with a frightened squeak .  " sorry ... " she apologized with embarrassment .
