Reading a book, opening the first page and drifting my gaze through the words like a soft breeze over rocks, feels like breathing... It's as natural as my hands responding to my thoughts, or my gaze chasing my interest. It's more familiar than hearing words echo around me, or feeling warm arms wrapped around my body... It's something that feels like returning home.
I don't know how many people understand that, and how little I would sacrifice for the chance of keeping that feeling, not misguiding it. It's more important than oxygen or the soft rhythm of my heart.
I wouldn't corrupt it, for anything.

Hey, you have beautiful work, and 5 years ago you read some of a story I was writing. I kinda dropped off planet earth trying to get my mental health in order. I would be honored if you re-read it, and as I begin to write more parts, give me your constructive criticism?

The hardest part about trying to justify the decisions I make when they seem so foreign and twisted to others, is the yearning for people to accept your decisions because they are part of who you are... And if they care so much for me, then I want them to accept my choices... Because if I didn't make them, I wouldn't be true to myself. If I didn't try, I wouldn't be who I am ...

Chapter 3 of "The Book of Life" is out!

Pandora Summers was 16, young, and completely hopeless, faced with immense despair. Being in a boarding school, not being herself with her family, and feeling emotionless with her friends, she felt like she'd lost track of who she was. But when she attends a friend's party, resigned to accepting his advances, she looks up to see him.
"Ah, the funny things life will throw at you to piss in its pants with laughter at your hell."

NEW STORY
          Hey Guys!
I hope you’re all doing well during these hard times, and staying at home.
As I've finally had some more time to myself, I’ve taken the opportunity to write again. I’m posting a new story, «The Book Of Life: Love and Other Humorous Things» with updates hopefully every day. Here’s the description, and the link, I hope you'll like it:

Taking in a deep breath, I try to straiten myself. "I need to drink my pain."
"We already finished the bottle of wine." She nodded to the empty bottle, covering our rug with spotted stains as I waved it around with my hands. "I mean, 'we' would be overstating it, I barely touched any of that."
"More is preferable. One year of my amusing life doesn't fit into a bottle." I snapped.

Pandora Summers was 16, young, and completely hopeless faced with immense despair. Being in a boarding school, not being herself with her family, and feeling close to emotionless with her friends, she felt like she'd lost track of who she was. But when she attends a friend's party, resigned to accepting his advances, she looks up to see him.
